About Trisha
Hi, I’m Trisha! I live in Gulf Breeze, Florida, which is basically paradise if you like sunshine, water, and a backyard full of cats. I also run a recipe site called Salty Side Dish, so between the two sites I spend a truly unreasonable amount of time on the internet and I would not change it.
I have had cats my whole life. My earliest memories involve a cat somewhere nearby and that has never once changed. Over the years I have raised seventeen animals total, which sounds like a lot until you meet my family and then it makes complete sense. Right now the household includes seven cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon, because apparently we do not believe in doing anything halfway.
I prefer cats to people.
I started Blueberry and Queso because Instagram is great but it is not the place for the longer stuff. The real stories, the honest product deep dives, the things I wish someone had told me before I owned seven cats and learned everything the hard way. I wanted a place to put all of that and here we are.
When I am not feeding someone or cleaning up after someone I can usually be found by the pool, working in the garden, planning a vacation, or deep into a Netflix show I will refuse to stop watching at a reasonable hour. I am an introvert who is great with people and somehow built a life that requires talking to a lot of them. The cats keep me humble.
I opened my home to a cat and then another and then somehow five more. I regret nothing and I am not accepting feedback at this time.
