One little fluff ball, exactly when I needed her.
I was not looking for a cat when I met Blueberry. I had just lost my soul cat, Gryffn, and the house felt too quiet in a way I did not know how to fix. Then I saw her, a little fluff ball in a cage at a store, and something about her hit my heart at exactly the right moment. She was a grief purchase, plain and simple, and one of the best decisions I have ever made. My first purebred cat, and she filled a very empty spot in our home in a way I did not expect. She is still a long haired cat, though nowhere near as poofy as the day she came home, which my vacuum is grateful for. Her personality has been easy to live with from the start, minus one quirk, she insists on a second dinner around 9pm before bed, and she has never once let me forget it. She will curl up and sleep on you for hours, but do not try to hold her. That is where she draws the line. She is an independent girl!
